Slight update to Mini-experiment book

Slight update to the Mini-Experiment booklet: Fixed some issues with margins and spanned some art across the martian chess pages to try and convey that both pages are for the same game.

To do: Find out how big the stickers are, Clean up the Martian Chess pages a bit more, put down information on becoming a rabbit, write pages for different games.

Alas I cannot make .swf files out of the work, so the ideal situation of being able to swap games into/outof the book on the fly (in the flash based pocketmod program) is beyond me right now.

Mini-Experiment Booklet v0.02 Mini-experiment cover/badge, 5 games (Fluxx, Chrononauts, Treehouse, Nano Fictionary, Martian Chess), and Rabbit description page.

Mini-Experiment Booklet v0.01
Same as above, one revision back.

List of games with descriptions laid out (though not necicarially well):
  • Fluxx (1 & 2pg)
  • Treehouse (1 & 2 pg)
  • Cosmic Coasters (2pg)
  • Chrononauts (1pg)
  • Nano Fictionary (1pg)
  • Martian Chess (2pg)

Things (pages) that I would like to implement, including various games that I don't own or haven't played yet::
Next on my plate will probably be a 1 page reference or 2 page ref/description for homeworlds.

Pocketmod Demo books

I made some drafts for Demo booklets, featuring rules and descriptions of Looney Labs games...

Mini-Experiment (with 5 games)

* The "Little Experiment" booklet was a test of concept and really wasn't up to standards. Besides, people were getting confused about what each one was for.

On Second Thought...

It may just be the name of my new playtest/gaming group... if I ever find people around here.

OoPS (Order of Pointed Sticks) will always hold a special place for me, but they've scattered beyond my ability to collect and host them all without tearing my skull out...

About the gang

This is to be a collaborative blog for developing game ideas, and generally ranting about whatever you may be working on, whether directly game related or tangential.

Comment if you want an invite.

Why the name? Because when working on one of my projects, I was stamping fabric paint on things and ended up putting a red Saturn on some black fabric. And I thought it looked neat. So I'll probably put it on a bunch of arm bands...

And it's obscure enough for people to ask "what the hell is that about?"

For more information about me and what this is all supposed to be, check out my normal gaming rant blog: sharperkelp.blogspot.com
