Rabbit booklet news

JEEP asked:
Why did the Little Experiment book need to go?

It was written far more sarcastically and disiphemistically than was appropriate as a reflection of the company [Looney Labs]...

A new booklet of the "Little" scale is in the works, but it will be less focused as a reference piece than a summary of the kinds of games (card, icehouse, coaster, etc) and a biography of the company... I think it would be too confusing to cover 9 games on 6 pages.

However both badges could be combined with micro-catalogues in the "pocket" area of the booklet (between the cover and page 2)... which could help reduce some of that load.

I'll probably eventually release my source files for the descriptions of the games, as well as instructions on how to use OOo Draw to compile your own booklets and run them though the pdf2pocketmod converter... This will let people make their own custom "mini" booklets based on the games they're actually planning on running.

Definitions:
A Mini Experiment is designed to be a personal challenge for a lone Rabbit. See how many games you can get others to play, within the time-frame of an event (ranging from a short social gathering to a multi-day convention). Ideal if your audience is made up of non-gamers.
A Little Experiment is designed to be an organized, scheduled, advertised, public even run by at least three Rabbits, who together know all nine core Looney Labs Games.

Hell! I don't even know what the "nine core games" are anymore! There could be twelve for all I know now...

Ultimately, I would like to find some way to convert the descriptions/reference pages to .swf files so people can re-mix the booklets as they see fit using the downloadable pocketmod software... But that remains out of my reach until at a minimum I can use some software that will create .swf files (learning shouldn't be difficult)

It's now prefered that you demo Treehouse before any of the pyramid games - making this a 10th.
